The Dean’s
This room is named after Dean Jonathan Swift, the author of Gulliver’s Travels. After spending some time in West Cork, he wrote a poem called Carbery Rocks which described the striking views looking out to sea.
With its grey marble fireplace and soft carpeted floor, this room is an ideal place to spend a quiet evening in. The large window gives you a perfect view of the same sea that Swift wrote about — maybe you’ll feel inspired to write some poetry of your own while you’re here!
Please note the Dean’s room is located on the first floor, accessible only by stairs.
