Exciting News
We have had a very busy few months!
We are delighted to announce the reopening of The Castle after an extensive refurbishment programme.
The result of all our handwork over the last six months has been something quiet special, not only have we updated all of the existing seven bedrooms we have also been able to add an additional four rooms to give us a total of eleven individually-styled rooms that have a character all of their own. The public areas of The Castle have retained all their historical character and features such as the oak panelling and family portraits of the Townshend family though the generations whilst taking on a modern twist.
An exciting addition to The Castle is our new Café which will be serving teas, coffees and delicious locally made cakes and snacks. The Café terrace overlooks the waterfront of Castletownshend harbour—the ideal setting to enjoy the picturesque views of this beautiful part of Ireland.
